Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, a part of UnitedHealth Group, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support mental health and specialty pharmacy operations under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. You will dispense prescriptions, handle clerical duties, and ensure compliance with federal and state requirements.

Schedule: Monday–Friday 8:30am–5:00pm EST. Location: 65 Airport Pkwy, Greenwood IN. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, paid time off, medical/dental/vision, 401(k) and additional perks.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician License in the state of Indiana.
• Access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provides exceptional customer service to all consumers and clinic staff.
• Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist.
• Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies.
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders.
• Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records.
• Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements.
• Performs various clerical duties relating to the department.
• Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills.
