Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of UnitedHealth Group, seeks a Pharmacy Technician to support its mental health pharmacy operations. Under direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, you will dispense prescriptions and handle clerical tasks while ensuring compliance with federal and state requirements.

The role is full-time (35 hours/week), with shifts Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm CST and travel to sites in Alma, Saginaw, West Branch and Stanton as needed.

Qualifications

• Active Michigan Pharmacy Technician license.
• Reliable transportation and valid US driver’s license.
• Ability to travel to sites for coverage needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and clinic staff
• Fills prescription orders under direct supervision of the pharmacist
• Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders
• Verifies medication stock and updates inventory records
• Assist pharmacist with pharmacy operations and regulatory compliance
• Perform clerical duties for the department
• Communicate professionally, verbally and in writing
• Make deliveries when needed
• Other duties as assigned
