Job summary

Genoa Healthcare is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of the mental health and specialty pharmacy, primarily through dispensing prescriptions and essential clerical tasks under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

Location: 111 N County Farm Road, Wheaton, IL 60187. Schedule: Mon–Fri 8:00am–5:00pm CST with 1-hour lunch. Requires 1+ year of onsite Pharmacy Technician experience and active IL license. Competitive benefits and pay range offered.

Qualifications

1+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician in an onsite setting.
Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in Illinois.
Access to reliable transportation and a valid US driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Dispense prescription orders and verify under direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.
Fills prescriptions and ensures accuracy in data entry.
Manage pharmacy supplies and stock, including ordering and receiving.
Process wholesaler medication orders and maintain inventory records.
Assist pharmacists and maintain compliance with federal and state requirements.
Handle clerical duties related to the department.
