Job summary

SpecialtyRx, a Long-Term Care pharmacy, is seeking a Licensed Registered OH Pharmacy Technician to join our Columbus facility. The role requires prior pharmacy experience and a preference for a Certified Pharmacy Technician license.

You will support controlled substances room activities, stock management, and accurate packaging and shipping of medications. The position offers training on the 1st shift (9am-5:30pm) for two weeks, with opportunities for advancement and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered OH Pharmacy Technician required.
• Previous pharmacy experience required.
• Previous data entry experience preferred.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work under the direction of a supervisor.
• Experience working in a Controlled Drugs (Narcotics) room a plus.
• Maintain floor stock, including restocking and removal of expired medications.
• Rotate medication stock to ensure quality control standards.
• Prepack bulk medications prescribed for floor stock.
• Package, fill, and ship medications accurately.
• Maintain pharmacy standards and adhere to all policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to support pharmacy goals.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Shift:

• 8-hour shifts, Monday–Friday and every other weekend.

Available shifts include:

• 8:00am–4:30am.
• 6pm-2:30am
• 10:00pm–6:30am.
