Inova Mount Vernon Hospital is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician 2- PRN to join the team. This role will be PRN; shifts vary from Monday to Friday, including days/evenings with rotating shifts. Some weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain adequate stock of medications and supplies according to established policies.
• Accurately pre-pack medications and restock code carts and stock kits.
• Restock assigned areas, store unused medications, and utilize inventory management procedures.
• Order items, stock shelves properly, process returns, and identify vendor errors.
• Accurately fill automated dispensing devices, unit doses, first doses, and floor stock.
• Assist Pharmacist in drug selection and medication counting.

Education: High School diploma or GED.

Experience: One (1) year Pharmacy Technician experience preferred; one (1) year IV training/experience preferred.

Certification: Registered Pharmacy Technician in Virginia or a Pharmacy intern license. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 3 months of hire.
