PTCB CERTIFICATION REQUIRED!

Must be a current Licensed Pharmacy Technician in any of the following states: Arizona, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Maine, Montana, Ohio, Texas, Utah, Idaho, Kentucky, Nebraska, North Carolina, South Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Tennessee, or West Virginia.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 10:30am-7:00pm PST or 11:30am-8:00pm PST

Responsibilities

• Input orders into the medication order system accurately and efficiently, auditing and correcting as needed
• Perform drug calculations, including conversions
• Resolve issues of denials through adjudication and follow-up on claims in POS
• Maintain knowledge of Medicaid claim regulations and processes
• Generate reports on unpaid and pending claims for management
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients
• Assist with drug preparation and dispensing under supervision
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Pharmacy-related experience
• Understanding of drugs, medication terminology, and metric system; computer proficiency
• Licenses/Certifications as required by state regulations
• Detail-oriented, goal-oriented, team player, customer service skills, good communication
