Job Summary and Qualifications

Our Certified Pharmacy Technicians assist hospital pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications. You will handle medication orders for inpatient and outpatient care, set up, package, and label doses, fill routine orders, maintain inventory, and operate automated dispensing machines. You will also demonstrate competency in parenteral admixture calculations and preparation, including chemotherapy and nutrition.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Licensed Pharmacy Technician through the Virginia Board of Health Professions
• Certified by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)
• Preferred: prior inpatient pharmacy experience

No travel required. Minimum 6 months of experience needed.
