Job summary

Medical City Denton, part of the HCA Healthcare family, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists with order review, IV preparation, delivery, and restocking tasks. You will also participate in purchasing, repackaging, and training of new staff in a dynamic hospital setting.

Qualified candidates will have a Pharmacy Technician license, HS diploma, IV therapy experience, and ACPE eligibility. This full-time role offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional growth

Responsibilities

Job Summary and Qualifications

Under the direct supervision of a pharmacist and the general direction of the Director of Pharmacy, the Pharmacy Technician is responsible for non-judgmental aspects of order review and entry; preparation, delivery, and charging of medication/IV’s; restocking of ADC cabinets and par medications/IV ‘s; purchasing; repackaging; training of new personnel and performance of related duties as assigned.

• High School Graduate / GED
• IV Therapy Required
• Requires ACPE
• 1 + year(s) of experience required ib hospital
