Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to handle highly confidential information
• Meet minimum state requirements related to the position

Desired Qualifications:

• Previous relevant experience or comparable experience as a pharmacy clerk
• Familiarity with EPRN

Responsibilities:

• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations, reporting illegal activities
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and safety standards and report unsafe conditions
• Understand and perform ordering functions with primary and secondary wholesalers
• Manage inventory using company guidelines and computerized systems
• Maintain clean and organized work and customer areas
• Accurately count, measure, and prepare products
• Complete billing procedures correctly to ensure value for customers and the company
• Answer calls and inquiries professionally
• Adhere to company policies on coupons, cash handling, and loss prevention
• Operate cash registers and handle transactions securely
• Provide excellent customer service, supporting pharmacy operations without professional judgment
• Follow HIPAA and company policies on patient confidentiality
• Support health and wellness initiatives and put away legend orders
• Work effectively in high-paced, stressful environments and manage conflicts cooperatively
• Act with honesty and integrity, following directions and seeking help when needed
• Support interactions with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
