Pharmacy Technician - Remote, PA and AZ - Accredo Specialty Pharmacy

Overview

Accredo Specialty Pharmacy is seeking dedicated Pharmacy Technicians to work from home, assisting patients with life-sustaining medications for rare and chronic diseases. This role involves engaging with patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers to process prescriptions and ensure timely medication shipments.

Training Schedule

9 AM - 5:30 PM EST, Monday to Friday, for 6 weeks. Post-training, shifts will be 8 hours within 9 AM - 8 PM EST, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound calls for patient onboarding and prescription requests.
• Create requests and contact providers for prescription approvals.
• Accurately enter prescription data and investigate issues with healthcare providers.
• Guide patients on medication coverage and juggle multiple tasks with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Customer service experience; phone experience a plus.
• Valid Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration as per state laws.
• Proficiency with computers and data entry, Microsoft Office.
• Reliable high-speed internet via wired Ethernet; a quiet workspace.

Additional Notes
