Job summary

SpecialtyRx, Inc. is a Long-Term Care pharmacy providing services to long-term care facilities and assisted living communities.

We seek a registered Pharmacy Technician to support urgent orders, IV/stock requests, and cycle fills, with training on first shift; must be able to sit for extended periods and work on multi-tasking tasks. Qualifications

• Must hold OH Board of Pharmacy registration and be nationally certified.
• Knowledge of brand-name and generic medications.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy.
• Proficient in LTC systems and SIG-Codes.
• Willingness to train on first shift 8:00–4:30.
• Able to sit for prolonged periods.

Responsibilities:

• Triage and Address Urgent Orders and Emails.
• Manage IV and House Stock Requests.
• Replenishment and Audit Forms.
• Follow-Up and Respond to Emails.
• Cycle Fill Management.
• High-Cost Approval.
• File and Process Scripts.
• Quantity & Refills Authorization.
• Duplicate Report Management.

Shift:

11am-7:30pm Monday- Friday and Every other Weekend.

12am-8:30pm Monday- Friday and Every other Weekend.

Qualifications:

• Must be a Registered Pharmacy Technician with the OH Board of Pharmacy.
• Must be Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician.
• Knowledge of brand name and generic medications.
• Ability to work independently, accurately, and efficiently.
• Must be multi-tasking and reliable.
• Knowledge of SIG-Codes.
• Computer literate, knowledge of Frameworks LTC system, PLUS.
• Ability to train on first shift 8am-4:30pm
• Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time.
