SpecialtyRx, Inc. is seeking a full-time pharmacy technician in Elizabethtown, KY. The role supports long-term care facilities with duties including stocking, packaging, and shipping medications under supervision.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Work under supervision.
• Handle controlled drugs room experience is a plus.
• Maintain floor stock and restock medications.
• Rotate stock to ensure quality controls.
• Prepack for floor bulk prescribed medications.
• Package fill and ship medications.
• Adhere to pharmacy standards and policies.
• Collaborate with the team to meet pharmacy goals.
• Complete any other tasks assigned by supervisor.

SpecialtyRx is a Long-Term Care pharmacy providing pharmaceutical services to long term care facilities and assisted living communities. SpecialtyRx takes pride in delivering personalized care and quality pharmacy services.

Responsibilities

• Able to work under the direction of a supervisor.
• Experience working Controlled Drugs (Narcotics) room a plus.
• Maintains floor stock, restocking, removal of expired medications.
• Rotate stock of medication areas to assure quality controls.
• Prepack for floor bulk prescribed medications.
• Package fill and ship medications.
• Responsible for pharmacy standards, maintained and adherence policies.
• Team player and collaborate with others to support the goals of the pharmacy.
• Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Licensed with the KY Board of Pharmacy required.
• Must be at least 17 years of age.
• Must be reliable and execute multiple tasks assigned.
• Good organizational skills and detail-oriented.
• Ability to physically perform light lifting.

Shift

• 3:00pm-11:30pm Monday-Friday & every other weekend.
