Job summary

SpecialtyRx in Columbus, OH is seeking a licensed Ohio Pharmacy Technician or trainee for a full-time position in a long-term care pharmacy. You will support daily pharmacy operations, prepare and package medications, and work under supervision.

Responsibilities include managing floor stock, handling controlled substances with supervision, and collaborating with the team to maintain quality and compliance. Evening and weekend shifts are included.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• OH Pharmacy Technician license or trainee is required in Ohio.
• Must be reliable and able to multitask.
• Good organizational skills and detail orientation.
• Ability to perform light lifting.

Responsibilities

• Work under the direction of a supervisor.
• Experience with Controlled Drugs (Narcotics) room is a plus.
• Maintain floor stock, restock, and remove expired medications.
• Rotate stock to ensure quality controls.
• Prepack for floor bulk prescribed medications.
• Package, fill and ship medications.
• Adhere to pharmacy standards and policies.
• Collaborate with the team to support pharmacy goals.
• Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor.
• Shift options: 8:00–16:30 Mon–Fri and every other weekend; 22:00–06:30 Mon–Fri and every other weekend.

Our Company: SpecialtyRx is a Long-Term Care pharmacy providing pharmaceutical services to long term care facilities and assisted living communities. SpecialtyRx takes pride in delivering personalized care and quality pharmacy services.

Responsibilities

• Able to work under the direction of a supervisor.

• Shift: 8am-4:30pm Monday- Friday and every other weekend
• 10pm-6:30am Monday- Friday and every other weekend
