Job summary

LA Compounding Pharmacy is seeking a skilled Non-Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join our team. Prep high-quality compounded medications under pharmacist supervision in a safe, compliant setting.

The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of non-sterile compounding experience, be detail-oriented, and familiar with USP <795> guidelines. In-person, full-time/part-time roles in Los Angeles, CA offer growth and a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in non-sterile compounding strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with USP <795> regulations and compounding techniques.
• Strong attention to detail, precision, and cleanliness.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Comfortable working with balances, ointment mills, and capsule machines.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain thorough documentation.

Responsibilities

• Compound non-sterile medications such as capsules, creams, ointments, and suspensions
• Measure, weigh, and mix pharmaceutical ingredients following precise formulas
• Prepare and label prescriptions under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist
• Maintain clean and organized compounding areas in compliance with USP <795> guidelines
• Document batch records, logs, and prescription data accurately
• Assist in managing inventory of raw materials and supplies
• Follow all safety protocols and standard operating procedures
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure efficient workflow and excellent service
