Job summary

LA Compounding Pharmacy is seeking a skilled Non-Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join our team. Prep high-quality compounded medications under pharmacist supervision in a safe, compliant setting.

The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of non-sterile compounding experience, be detail-oriented, and familiar with USP <795> guidelines. In-person, full-time/part-time roles in Los Angeles, CA offer growth and a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred.
1+ years of experience in non-sterile compounding strongly preferred.
Familiarity with USP <795> regulations and compounding techniques.
Strong attention to detail, precision, and cleanliness.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Comfortable working with balances, ointment mills, and capsule machines.
Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain thorough documentation.

Responsibilities

Compound non-sterile medications such as capsules, creams, ointments, and suspensions
Measure, weigh, and mix pharmaceutical ingredients following precise formulas
Prepare and label prescriptions under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist
Maintain clean and organized compounding areas in compliance with USP <795> guidelines
Document batch records, logs, and prescription data accurately
Assist in managing inventory of raw materials and supplies
Follow all safety protocols and standard operating procedures
Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure efficient workflow and excellent service
