Job summary

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED required.
• Pharmacy technician trainee license from the WVBOP.
• Willingness to train and learn under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients and direct calls appropriately.
• Assist pharmacist in preparing medications under supervision.
• Maintain and clean equipment, work areas and shelves.
• Check temperatures of refrigerators/freezers and monitor stock for freshness.
• Process third‑party insurance claims and communicate with insurers.
• Enter and retrieve patient data while protecting PHI/EPHI.
• Place completed prescriptions in will-call and prepare orders for mailing.
