Job summary

The Pharmacy Technician Specialist I at Mercy Pharmacy Riverport assists pharmacists in preparing, compounding, and dispensing medications and is accountable to the supervising pharmacist who is legally responsible for the care and safety of the patients served by the pharmacy. This full-time role follows applicable standards and regulations to ensure patient safety and quality care.

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalence exam.
• Licensure: Actively registered, in good standing, with the Missouri Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician or willing to submit application for registration by first day of work. This includes submitting fingerprints for FBI background check.
• Experience: 1-year relevant pharmacy experience preferred but not required.
• Other: Successfully complete pharmacy department orientation.

Tech I:

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalence exam.
