Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Pharmacy Technician Specialist I to assist pharmacists in preparing, dispensing, and distributing medications. The role reports to a supervising pharmacist responsible for patient care and safety.

This position may involve more complex medication distribution and specialized responsibilities in the Specialty Pharmacy. The site is Riverport I, Maryland Heights, MO, with full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalence required.
• Active Missouri Board of Pharmacy registration as a Pharmacy Technician or willingness to apply by start date; fingerprints may be required.
• 1 year of relevant pharmacy experience required.
• Complete pharmacy department orientation as a condition of employment.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalence exam.
• Licensure: Actively registered, in good standing, with the Missouri Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician or willing to submit application for registration by first day of work. This includes submitting fingerprints for FBI background check.
• Experience: 1-year relevant pharmacy experience required.
• Other: Successfully complete pharmacy department orientation.
