Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for the Transitions of Care Services team in Charlotte, FL. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, with a 2nd shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM) and every other weekend.

You will handle area-specific workflows, ensure accurate records, and support communication with patients and care teams. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED, and state board licensure plus CPhT or ExCPT certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; NC requires Associate's Degree in Pharmacy Technology for technicians with validating responsibilities.
• State licensure as a pharmacist or pharmacy technician per jurisdiction; CPhT or ExCPT certification preferred.
• Typically 3 years of healthcare/pharmacy/related experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete area-specific work following standard processes and policies.
• Serve as an expert with equipment and technology in the area.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation and records.
• Support communication with patients and care teams.
• Identify quality improvement opportunities for safe and efficient patient care.
