MUSC Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a PRN role. The technician will perform general distribution tasks under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy and staff pharmacists, including computer order entry, order filling, and preparation of IV admixtures.
The ideal candidate has High School Diploma or GED, completion or pursuit of a Pharmacy Technician Program, and SC registration. One year of experience is preferred for this position, which is hourly and benefits from a flexible PRN
Under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy and/or staff pharmacists, the pharmacy technician is responsible for general distribution activities, including but not limited to, computer order entry, medication order fill, preparation of intravenous admixtures, floor stock and Pyxis med station medication filling, medication rounds and drug ordering and procurement activities, or other duties as assigned

High School Graduate or GED required, Graduate from Pharmacy Technician Program or currently pursuing.
One-year experience as pharmacy technician or pursuing graduate of a Pharmacy Technician program preferred.
