Job summary

MUSC Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a PRN role. The technician will perform general distribution tasks under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy and staff pharmacists, including computer order entry, order filling, and preparation of IV admixtures.

The ideal candidate has High School Diploma or GED, completion or pursuit of a Pharmacy Technician Program, and SC registration. One year of experience is preferred for this position, which is hourly and benefits from a flexible PRN

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate from Pharmacy Technician Program or currently pursuing.
• One year experience as pharmacy technician preferred.
• Current registration as Pharmacy Technician in South Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Computer order entry and medication order fill.
• Prepare intravenous admixtures.
• Fill Pyxis med stations and floor stock.
• Participate in medication rounds and drug ordering/procurement.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
