Job Description

Working under the direct supervision of the pharmacist(s), the pharmacy technician assists in all pharmacy operations related to: (1) preparation and distribution of medications; (2) maintenance of drug inventories (e.g., restocking automated dispensing cabinets, drug packaging/re-packaging, extemporaneous compounding, code cart restock); and (3) completion of patients’ records pertaining to drug therapy (aminoglycoside protocol orders, drug charges and credits).
