Job summary

MUSC Health in Lancaster, SC is seeking a pharmacy technician to support distribution, order entry, IV admixtures, floor stock, and Pyxis medication filling. The role involves medication rounds and procurement activities under supervision of pharmacists and the Director of Pharmacy.

Job Description

Under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy and/or staff pharmacists, the pharmacy technician is responsible for general distribution activities, including but not limited to, computer order entry, medication order fill, preparation of intravenous admixtures, floor stock, and Pyxis med station medication filling, medication rounds and drug ordering and procurement activities, or other duties as assigned

Experience:

One-year experience as a pharmacy technician or pursuing a graduate of a Pharmacy Technician program preferred.
