Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a PRN Pharmacy Technician to support general distribution activities under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy and staff pharmacists. Responsibilities include computer order entry, medication order fill, intravenous admixtures, Pyxis medication filling, rounds and drug procurement.

Education requirements are a High School Diploma or GED, and graduation from a Pharmacy Technician program or current pursuit.

Qualifications

• High School Graduation or GED required; Graduate from Pharmacy Technician Program or currently pursuing.
• One-year experience as pharmacy technician or pursuing graduate of a Pharmacy Technician program preferred.
• Current registration as Pharmacy Technician in South Carolina.
