Northside Hospital is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists with filling, compounding and dispensing physician orders. You will handle packaging and delivery of pharmaceuticals and provide patient care services across all age groups.

Current GA Pharmacy Technician registration and at least 1 year of experience are required; sterile compounding experience and certification (PTCB/NHA) are preferred. Work hours are 7a-3:30p.

Competenze

• Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Georgia.
• One year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Preferred: Sterile compounding & Surgical Pharmacy experience.
• Preferred: PTCB or NHA certification.

Mansioni

• Assist Pharmacist in filling, compounding, and dispensing orders.
• Handle, package, and deliver pharmaceuticals.
• Provide patient care services to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

• Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Georgia.
• One (1) year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician

PREFERRED:

• Sterile Compounding & Surgical Pharmacy Experience
• Certified Pharmacy Technician through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Healthcareer Association (NHA).
