Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a pharmacist to join its clinical team in Braselton, GA. The role integrates patient-centered pharmaceutical services with traditional dispensing and drug-control activities.

The ideal candidate holds an accredited PharmD, an active Georgia license, and prior hospital pharmacy experience, with strong communication and leadership skills. Work hours are 7a-3:30p.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy.
• Must have an active GA Pharmacy license.
• One year of previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide pharmaceutical services and drug information to nurses, physicians, and other health care providers.
• Advise on drug interactions, contraindications and other information to ensure safe drug therapy.
• Serve patients across neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.

Responsibilities

As part of the health care team, practices Pharmacy as a knowledge-based clinical profession, and integrates patient-oriented services with traditional distributive and drug control activities. Provides pharmaceutical services including drug information to nurses, physicians, and other health care providers. Advises the same with respect to drug interactions, contraindications and other relevant information to ensure optimal and safe drug therapy. Serves all patients to include, but not limited to, neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy.
• Must have an active GA Pharmacy license.

PREFERRED:

• Prior Surgery Experience
• Strong Leadership Skills
• One (1) year of previous hospital pharmacy experience.
• Good communication skills.
