Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of Optum and UnitedHealth Group, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the mental health pharmacy, primarily through dispensing prescriptions and clerical duties under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, in Saint Joseph, MO. You will provide excellent customer service, manage inventory, process orders, and help ensure compliance with federal and state requirements as part of a coordinated care team.

Qualifications

• Active Missouri Pharmacy Technician license required.
• Access to reliable transportation required.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to consumers and clinics.
• Fills prescription orders under direct supervision of pharmacist.
• Orders, receives, and stores pharmacy supplies.
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders.
• Verifies medication stock and enters data to maintain inventory records.
• Assist pharmacist in pharmacy functions and ensure compliance with federal/state requirements.
• Perform clerical duties related to the department.
