Job summary

UnitedHealth Group's Genoa Mental Health Pharmacy in Payson, AZ is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support dispensing and clerical duties under a registered pharmacist. This part-time role guarantees 32 hours per week with potential to flex to 40 hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm.

Responsibilities include processing prescriptions under supervision, inventory management, stocking, and ensuring compliance with federal and state requirements.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted AZ Pharmacy Technician license or Trainee license, or ability to obtain within 60 days of employment.
• Reliable transportation with a valid US Driver's License.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (preferred).
• Pharmacy and prescription data entry experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and clinic
• Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist
• Orders, receives, and stores incoming pharmacy supplies
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders
• Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records
• Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements
• Performs various clerical duties relating to the department
• Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills
• Other duties as assigned
