Genoa Healthcare, part of UnitedHealth Group, is hiring a Part Time Pharmacy Technician in Tempe, AZ. The role supports the Genoa mental health pharmacy with dispensing prescriptions and clerical duties under a registered pharmacist's supervision.

Hours are 8 guaranteed weekly, with potential to flex up to 40 hours; location: 1492 S Mill Ave, Tempe, AZ 85281. Primary responsibilities include customer service, inventory management, processing orders, and ensuring compliance with federal/state

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in Arizona or an active Trainee Technician License in Arizona or ability to obtain within 60 days.
• Access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to consumers and clinic.
• Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Order, receive, and store incoming pharmacy supplies.
• Receive and process wholesaler medication orders.
• Verify medication stock and enter data to maintain inventory records.
• Assist pharmacist in pharmacy functions and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Perform clerical duties for the department.
• Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Other duties as assigned.
