Job summary

Tarrytown Expocare Pharmacy in Minnetonka is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to label, dispense, and prepare prescriptions for delivery, including unit-dose packaging. This on-site, full-time position supports a long-term care pharmacy serving clients nationwide.

Qualifications

Must possess an active MN State Board of Pharmacy Technician License.
1+ year minimum experience as a pharmacy tech in a retail or LTC setting.
Experience with FrameworkLTC/ECM software is preferred, not required.
Can perform pharmacy calculations and interpret prescriptions.
Able to complete projects promptly and work with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

Pull correct stock bottles from inventory and stage prescriptions for packaging.
Accurately dispense and label prescription orders.
Prepare unit dose packaging (e.g., blister cards) by hand or with machines.
Affix labels to correctly pre-packed blister cards when required.
Sort and organize completed prescriptions for delivery.
Perform quality assurance checks as directed.
Prepare orders for delivery and perform other duties as assigned.
