Job summary

PharmcareUSA is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our LTC-focused team. Pay is commensurate with experience in LTC, and a full-time schedule including weekends is required. We offer medical, dental, vision, 401K, life insurance, FSA/HSA, PTO and holiday benefits.

Candidates must be certified as a pharmacy technician in the state where they work, and will assist pharmacists with input, filling, dispensing, and patient support across facilities.

Qualifications

• Strong critical evaluation and ethical practice required.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT).

Responsibilities

• Assist Pharmacist with input, filling and dispensing prescriptions.
• Perform filling and IV compounding of prescriptions with accuracy.
• Fill prescriptions per regulatory rules and guidelines.
• Answer calls and refer to Pharmacist when needed.
• Prepare medications for delivery to facilities per schedule.
• Assist walk-in customers or direct to appropriate department.
• Assist with ordering medications and inventory management.
• Assist with medication returns and E-Kit management.
• Maintain Pharmacy Technician license/certification.
• Support corporate initiatives and utilize provided tools.
• Other duties as assigned.
