Job summary

Tarrytown Expocare Pharmacy in Minnetonka, MN, is hiring a Pharmacy Technician – Production to label and dispense prescriptions and prepare unit-dose packaging. You may rotate to Order Entry as needed in this full-time role. Hours: Mon–Fri 9am–5pm CST.

Qualifications

• Must possess an active MN State Board of Pharmacy Technician License.
• 1+ year minimum experience as a pharmacy tech in a retail or LTC setting.
• Experience with FrameworkLTC/ECM software preferred, not required.
• Ability to perform pharmacy calculations.
• Understands basic pharmacy language to interpret prescriptions.
• Ability to complete projects promptly.
• Ability to work with little oversight and/or guidance.

Responsibilities

• Pull correct stock bottles from inventory and stage prescriptions for packaging.
• Accurately dispense and label prescription orders.
• Prepare unit-dose packaging (e.g., blister cards) based on directions for use, by hand or with machines.
• Pull the correct pre-packed blister card and affix labels.
• Sort and organize completed prescriptions.
• Perform quality assurance checks as directed.
• Prepare orders for delivery.
