Job summary

Trinity Health KeyCare in Minot, ND is seeking a Pharmacy Tech In Training to support retail and hospital pharmacy operations under a licensed pharmacist. The role focuses on medication preparation, dispensing activities, and customer service while building licensure competencies.

You will work with a collaborative team, handle computer entry, labeling, and inventory tasks, and participate in ongoing training to progress toward licensure. Day/evening shifts are available in a full-time capacity.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an educational program for licensure in North Dakota at start of employment.
• License renewal and continuing education as required by the North Dakota Board of Pharmacy.
• Retail and/or hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and teamwork skills.
• Good computer and math skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists with basic dispensing tasks under supervision.
• Greet patients, answer inquiries, and direct concerns to pharmacy staff.
• Enter patient, prescriber, and prescription data into pharmacy systems under close supervision.
• Keep the pharmacy area organized, restock shelves, and monitor inventory.
• Follow regulations, safety policies, and learn required competencies.
• Participate in trainings to progress toward licensure.
