Job summary
Thrifty White Pharmacy in Mandan, ND is seeking a Pharmacy Technician-in-Training to start or grow a career in our fast-paced pharmacy environment. Completion of Thrifty White's ASHP/ACPE Accredited Training Program is required, along with all ND board registration, licensing, and certification requirements.
The successful candidate will support pharmacy operations, learn across store locations in Mandan and Bismarck as training progresses, and help deliver excellent patient service while
Qualifications
- Customer service skills and confidentiality are essential.
- Attention to detail for accurate prescription records.
- Willingness to become a certified pharmacy technician per ND requirements.
- Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service and build patient loyalty.
- Support Pharmacy programs and enroll patients in Ready Refill, Medication Synchronization and HealthyPackRx.
- Maintain prescription information and accurate records.
- Understand and follow Medicare Part B requirements and assist with Part D questions.
- Troubleshoot rejected claims or billing issues and assist across store locations as needed.
