Job summary

Trinity Health Medical Arts - Minot, ND is seeking a Pharmacy Tech In Training to support the retail and hospital pharmacy under supervision of a licensed pharmacist. You will assist with medication preparation, labeling, data entry into pharmacy systems, and customer service while learning foundational skills required for licensure.

This part-time role covers day/evening shifts, emphasizes compliance with regulations, teamwork, and ongoing training toward licensure.

Qualifications

Enrolled in ND State Board of Pharmacy licensure program at employment start.
Yearly renewal of license and required continuing education per Board.
Retail and/or hospital pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist pharmacists with basic dispensing functions such as preparing medications, labeling products, and retrieving items from inventory.
Support customer service activities by greeting patients, answering general inquiries, and directing concerns to appropriate pharmacy personnel.
Enter patient, prescriber, and prescription information into pharmacy computer systems with close supervision to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Maintain organization and cleanliness in the retail and/or hospital pharmacy, restocking shelves, monitoring inventory levels, and assisting with routine supply checks.
Follow all state and federal regulations, supervised workflows, and safety policies while actively learning required pharmacy technician competencies.
Participate in training sessions, meetings, and educational activities necessary to progress toward pharmacy technician licensure and competency.
