Children's Health in Dallas, TX is seeking a Pharmacy Technician III to work on-site in the IV Room. This PRN role supports specialized sterile compounding, hazardous drug handling, and adherence to USP standards under the supervision of the pharmacist.

The ideal candidate has at least five years of health-system pharmacy experience and a high school diploma or GED. You will assist with inventory management, documentation, and training of junior staff, while maintaining readiness for inspections

Formación

• 5+ years health-system pharmacy technician experience; sterile compounding experience preferred.
• Experience with hazardous drugs and USP standards required.
• Able to train and precept Pharmacy Technicians and students.

Responsabilidades

• Respond to inquiries with independence from supervising pharmacist or team leader (≥85%).
• Coordinate daily workflow in the assigned area.
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness for inspections.
• Maintain integrity of sterile compounding areas and related documentation.
• Operate and monitor specialty equipment and systems.
• Ensure compliance with USP and state board requirements.
• Assist with drug inventory management and PAR levels.
• Participate in teaching activities for staff and students.
