Job summary

Phoenix Children's Hospital, Inc. is looking for a Pharmacy Technician to assist in medication procurement and preparation. This role involves dispensing medications under pharmacist supervision and maintaining patient safety standards.

Candidates must have at least a high school diploma and be licensed as a Pharmacy Technician in Arizona. Previous hospital experience is preferred. The position requires strong customer service skills and attention to detail, and it offers the opportunity to impact patient care positively.

Qualifications

• Six or more months of experience as a Pharmacy Technician I at Phoenix Children’s, or two or more years of hospital pharmacy experience.
• Current BLS Certification and/or Technician Product Verification Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, dispense, and deliver medications to patient care areas.
• Perform sterile and non-sterile compounding of medications.
• Assist in maintaining inventory levels of medications and supplies.
• Act as the first line for customer service support in the pharmacy.
