Job summary

HCA HealthONE Presbyterian St. Luke's is seeking a Pharmacy Technician II to assist under a registered pharmacist in pharmaceutical preparation and distribution.

You will perform non-sterile compounding, stock automated cabinets, prepare unit-dose medications, deliver them to patient care areas, and ensure proper storage and billing duties are handled. Qualifications

• CPhT with Colorado Board of Pharmacy (DORA) certificate or provisional.
• Provisional holder must obtain full CPhT within 12 months.
• High school diploma
• Two years' experience as a pharmacy technician preferred.

Responsibilities

• Non-sterile compounding and stocking automated cabinets.
• Prepare unit-dose drugs for dispensing.
• Deliver medications to patient care areas.
• Check medication storage areas for outdated stock.
• Complete billing duties.
• May work in IV room, controlled substances distribution, automation, informatics, and medication reconciliation.
