Job summary

Option Care Health, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support warehouse and cleanroom operations, perform compounding as needed, and ensure accurate preparation and labeling of sterile products.

You will maintain inventory, receive and stock orders, coordinate with pharmacists and couriers, and help ensure timely, compliant deliveries to patients across the service area while adhering to safety protocols, HIPAA regulations, and accreditation requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Meets all state requirements for a Pharmacy Technician (registration, licensure or certification) as applicable by state.
• Current national certification (CPhT) if required by state.

Responsibilities

• Prescription & Equipment Preparation and Processing: Inspects compounding material, compounds sterile preparations, checks final product, labels when permitted.
• Inventory Maintenance: Maintains inventory, rotates stock, notifies shortages.
• Site & Supplies Maintenance: Keeps warehouse safe and compliant with procedures.
• Operations Coordination & Delivery: Coordinates delivery tickets, optimizes delivery routes and timelines, tracks lead times and costs.
• Mentorship and Training: Assists in orienting new warehouse team members and provides mentorship where needed.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Pharmacy Technician state requirements (registration/licensure/certification)
