Job summary

HCA HealthONE Presbyterian/St. Luke's in Denver, CO is seeking a Pharmacy Technician II under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist to handle non-sterile compounding, unit-dose preparation, and medication delivery. You will assist with storage checks and billing duties while supporting a safe, efficient pharmacy workflow.

The role may involve work in IV rooms, controlled substances, automation, informatics, and medication reconciliation to support patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or national equivalent with Colorado DORA certificate or provisional certificate.
• If hired with Provisional Certificate, must achieve CPhT within 12 months of hire date.
• High school diploma.”
• Two years’ experience as a pharmacy technician is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Non-sterile compounding and stocking automated dispensing cabinets.
• Prepare unit-dose drugs.
• Deliver medications to patient care areas.
• Check medication storage areas for outdated items.
• Complete billing duties.
• May work in IV room, controlled substances distribution, automation, informatics, and medication reconciliation.
