Job summary

HCA HealthONE Aurora is seeking a Pharmacy Technician II to support pharmacists in preparation and distribution of medications. You will perform non-sterile compounding, stock automated cabinets, prepare unit doses, and deliver meds to patient areas under direct supervision.

Colorado licensure is required for the role. Qualified candidates typically hold a high school diploma, prefer prior pharmacy technician experience, and demonstrate strong attention to detail, teamwork, and communication.

Qualifications

• Licensure/certification: Colorado Board of Pharmacy (DORA) Pharmacy Technician Certificate or Provisional Certificate.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: previous pharmacy technician experience preferred.
• Skills: accuracy, communication, teamwork, customer service, computer proficiency, problem solving and organization.
• Supervision: minimal, work under supervision with adherence to policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform non-sterile compounding and stocking automated dispensing cabinets.
• Prepare unit dose medications and deliver to patient care areas.
• Monitor medication storage areas for outdates and assist with billing.
