Job summary

Option Care Health LLC is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support cleanroom operations, sterile compounding, and accurate delivery of medications and supplies. You will inspect materials, prepare sterile products, and ensure quality before pharmacist review.

The role involves inventory management, coordinating with couriers, and maintaining compliant documentation for timely patient deliveries. Prior pharmacy experience and CPhT can be required by the state.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Meets state requirements for a Pharmacy Technician, which may include registration, licensure or certification.
• At least 1 year of related experience.
• Current national certification CPhT if required by state.

Responsibilities

• Inspects and audits compounding material prior to its entry into the cleanroom.
• Compounds sterile preparations as needed.
• Checks final product for particulate matter and container integrity prior to pharmacist review.
• Labels compounded sterile preparations when allowed by state regulations.
• Receives and stocks incoming orders; assembles and packages material for delivery.
• Oversees inventory control and rotates stock; notifies shortages promptly.
• Develops efficient territory management and delivery zones.
• Coordinates with customer service and Pharmacy to facilitate timely processing of delivery tickets and documents.
