Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with accredited pharmacy tech training.
• Acceptance into pharmacy school.

Responsibilities

• Follow workflow procedures for prescription processing, medication preparation and distribution.
• Restock automated dispensing cabinets as needed.
• Answer and screen telephone calls and direct to appropriate personnel.
• Handle medications per regulatory and departmental requirements.
• Collaborate with pharmacy team, insurers and customers to resolve issues.
• Assist with basic clinical functions supporting the clinical pharmacist.
