Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support licensed pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications at Carolinas Medical Center. The role involves accurate labeling, hazardous drug handling, and daily pharmacy operations in a fast-paced environment.

The position offers a 7 days on/7 days off schedule (0700-1900) with a sign-on bonus eligibility, 40 hours per week, and full benefits. Requires high school diploma and state licensure, plus CPT/ExCPT certification within 18

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Registration or licensure with state board of pharmacy; must obtain CPhT or ExCPT within 18 months from start date.
• No work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed pharmacist in preparation and distribution of medications.
• Prepare and label medications for patients, including hazardous drugs and controlled substances.
• Assist with medication distribution tasks and inventory control.
