Job summary

Advocate Health's Lexington Medical Center Pharmacy team is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician to support medication orders and stock control. Shifts are four 10-hour days, on-site, with every 4th weekend and holiday rotation.

You will assist pharmacists to ensure accurate dispensing, proper charging, and timely patient care while maintaining stock and quality standards. Required: High school diploma or GED, CPhT, and NC registration within 30 days; sign-on bonus available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• PTCB/NHA Pharmacy Technician certification required.
• North Carolina Board of Pharmacy registration required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Help pharmacists prepare and process medication orders to ensure patients and departments receive the right medications on time and are charged correctly.
• Works well with others and organizes daily tasks for maximum efficiency.
• Helps keep medicine stock in good condition so that quality drugs and supplies are always available.
• Offers pharmacy services in patient care areas.
• Support the Pharmacy Department's quality initiatives and ongoing education of staff.
