Job summary

H-E-B Pharmacy Technician in a fast-paced retail environment delivers accurate, efficient services while exceeding patient expectations.

You’ll process prescriptions with RxEVO/RxIMS, verify patient information, and support immunization scheduling, recalls, and inventory management. This role requires a HS diploma or GED and Texas CPhT certification; work includes nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Active Texas CPhT registration with continuing education.
• Certification as an H-E-B Pharmacy Technician.
• RxEVO certification.
• Successful completion of required training (Screener, ACR, HIPAA, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service and adhere to service standards.
• Process prescriptions using RxEVO; verify patient information and input data.
• Coordinate Rx screening, flu shot, and immunization scheduling.
• Manage inventory and process invoices daily.
• Maintain privacy and PHI per HIPAA; follow proper prescription delivery procedures.
• Assist with recalls, record storage, and other pharmacy tasks.
