Job summary

H-E-B is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our Texas store team. You will assist customers, process prescriptions with RxEVO, manage third-party issues, and support immunization scheduling and screening events. The role requires accurate data entry, strong communication, and adherence to SOPs.

In this fast-paced retail setting, you will help maintain inventory, support recalls, and collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure efficient operations. Prior retail tech experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of pharmacy experience (preferred).
• 1+ years of experience as an active retail Certified Pharmacy Technician.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Role models / provides superior customer service and service standards.
• Promotes / embodies "Greet, Ask & Thank" and H-E-B telephone strategies.
• Manages exception station; solves third-party issues.
• Receives / processes prescriptions using RxEVO; verifies patient information; processes third-party prescriptions; manages adjudication review.
• Coordinates Rx screening events, flu shot scheduling, immunization scheduling, and future events.
• Maintains H-E-B Rx screener status; participates in screening events.
• Assists with Pharmacy operations-related tasks ( recalls, storage, reconciliation, returns, communications).
• Orders / manages inventory; processes invoices daily.
• Reviews Warehouse and DSD orders.
• Checks deliveries for accuracy; notifies discrepancies; makes adjustments.
• Maintains automated prescription processing equipment (Kirby Lester, ScriptPro).
• Applies computer troubleshooting and prescription application overview.
• Processes RxIMS reports (count compliance, inventory, overrides).
• Performs other assigned duties.
