Job summary

H-E-B Pharmacy seeks a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join a fast-paced team. You will assist in prescription processing, verify patient information, and support immunization scheduling while delivering accurate, efficient service to customers.

This role requires experience with RxEVO and pharmacy operations, adherence to HIPAA, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. You will help with inventory, recalls, and daily tasks in a collaborative retail environment.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Active State of Texas registration as certified pharmacy technician (CPhT) and maintain certification with continuing education.
• Certification as an H-E-B Pharmacy Technician and RxEVO certification; successful completion of required training.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service and adhere to service standards.
• Input prescriptions into the computer system and verify patient information.
• Coordinate Rx screening events, vaccination scheduling, and immunization activities.
• Manage inventory, process invoices, and review Warehouse/DSD orders.
• Maintain automated prescription processing equipment and troubleshoot as needed.
• Ensure PHI privacy and HIPAA compliance; adhere to prescription delivery procedures.
• Perform duties to support pharmacy operations and compliance requirements.
