Serviam Pharmacy in Sioux City, IA is seeking a Pharmacy Technician passionate about patient care and accurate drug preparation. You will assist the Pharmacist with prescriptions, prepare labels, manage inventory, and help maintain a safe, courteous pharmacy environment.

The role involves inputting orders, packing medications for dispensing or delivery, and communicating with nursing centers. Prioritizing accuracy and teamwork, you’ll help ensure compliance with state standards while supporting

Responsibilities

• Assists the Pharmacist in filling prescription items.
• Types prescription information to produce labels.
• Labels products with cautionary or auxiliary labels.
• Takes inventory, places orders, checks in drugs and supplies.
• Prepares medications including emulsions, liquids, powders, and ointments.
• Packages medications for dispensing and delivery.
• Communicates with nursing center personnel and customers.
• Processes returned medications for credit or destruction.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.
• Conducts job responsibilities in accordance with the Company policies and procedures, and applicable laws.
