Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Complete basic and advanced technician training modules to gain essential computer RX knowledge.
  • Provide outstanding customer service and ensure satisfaction with pharmacy services.
  • Answer phone calls and inquiries not requiring pharmacist expertise.
  • Receive new prescriptions and process refill requests from prescribers.
  • Gather and record information to prepare prescriptions efficiently.
  • Assist pharmacists in preparing prescriptions by counting, pouring, and labeling medications.
  • Maintain a well-stocked pharmacy by ordering and checking-in supplies.
  • Prepare insurance claims and confirm payment processing.
  • Help patients locate over-the-counter medications.
  • Complete housekeeping duties within the pharmacy environment.
