Kroger Family of Companies in Reno, NV is seeking a Pharmacy Senior Certified Technician to support the pharmacy team and ensure safe, accurate dispensing while upholding HIPAA and company values.

You will assist the pharmacist, train new technicians, manage inventory, lead store-wide meetings, and ensure regulatory compliance across sanitation, safety, and local/state/federal requirements, with a focus on exceptional customer service.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of Pharmacy Tech experience.
• Pharmacy Technician Certification required.
• Professional, dependable, positive attitude; able to lead a high performing pharmacy team.
• Self-motivated with strong organization and time management.

Responsabilidades

• Support HIPAA regulations in daily operations.
• Perform essential duties of Pharmacy Senior Certified Technician.
• Maintain current state registration, certification, or license.
• Assist pharmacist with responsibilities excluding professional judgement.
• Provide stellar customer experience; complete reception, data entry, adjudication, and dispensing steps.
• Train and mentor new hire technicians; day-to-day training and support for pharmacy staff.
• Encourage and assist new techs through training program.
• Lead by example and delegate to ensure department standards.
• Represent store in meetings/huddles and coordinate with team.
• Assist scheduling and station rotation for hourly staff per labor forecasts.
• Complete the PIC Assistant process walk.
• Oversee inventory management including reconciling orders and returns.
• Act as pharmacy safety SME; coach for correctness as appropriate.
• Prepare for offsite B2B clinics (biometric screenings, vaccinations) to support pharmacist.
• Comply with sanitation and safety regulations and notify management of unsafe conditions; adhere to all health codes.
• Comply with all local, state and federal regulations; report illegal activity.
• Perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
